New England Lighthouses

I just visited the lighthouses in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. My favorite visit overall was to Nantucket's Surfside Life Station.

East Chop Lighthouse
99.00 USD
( Sales tax and shipping costs not included )

Perched high on a cliff, East Chop Lighthouse is located in a quiet residential area. Surrounded by a grassy area with a picket fence and benches, the idyllic setting belies its noble purpose. The perils offshore inspired a mariner to raise money to privately build the lighthous in 1869.

Edgartown Lighthouse
99.00 USD
( Sales tax and shipping costs not included )

Edgartown Lighthouse has always served as a symbol of hope. Once located on Crane's Beach, Edgartown Lighthouse replaced a lighthouse that was badly damaged in 1938. Weddings often take place here. A children's memorial located at the lighthouse, offers comfort to loved ones.

Gayhead Lighthouse
99.00 USD
( Sales tax and shipping costs not included )

The Gay Head Lighthouse & Cliffs in the town of Aquinnah on Martha's Vineyard are so spectacular that they make it to the bucket list. There's a shot of the lighthouse in the movie, "Jaws." I was visiting Martha's Vineyard when they were moving the lighthouse.

West Chop Lighthouse
99.00 USD
( Sales tax and shipping costs not included )

West Chop guards the harbor to Martha's Vineyard. It is the first lighthouse seen from the ferry. The Coast Guard is responsible for the lighthouse which stands behind a white picket fence to ward off visitors. The lighthouse went into service on October 5, 1817.
